Biodynamic Tea Growing

Get a snapshot of a farm other than your own and get a close up view of Light of Day Organics, Michigan’s only certified Demeter Biodynamic farm, right here in Leelanau County specializing in high quality botanicals. Hear how Angela Macke, a Registered Nurse, Educator, and Horticulturalist, runs the operation known for home-grown flowers, herbs and fruit blended into fine teas. You'll also see the licensed commercial farm kitchen and packaging operation.


Twilight Tours are an opportunity for area small farmers to learn from one another’s practices through a series of tours and farmer-led workshops. Farm tours are particularly valuable for beginning farmers as a way to build relationships, observe a wide variety of management styles and find support from a peer network. Upcoming Twilight Tours will have a unique theme, depending upon the farm. Following the tour will be plenty of time for Q&A.
