What is this Holistic Management® Land Planning short course?

A process that will support you to create a vision and plan for creating the farm landscape that will satisfy your goals and values.

Why do it?

Plan your landscape and infrastructure development to be cost-effective, avoid duplicating efforts and undoing previous work, and make capital investments expeditious and profitable.

How will it work?

The process of Holistic Management® Land Planning will be taught by Holistic Management Certified Educator Larry Dyer.

Session 1, Zoom, July 16, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm:

This coaching session will help participants clarify their goals, identify management issues and gather resources to prepare themselves for planning.

Session 2, in-person, July 23, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at a participating farm:

Participants will arrive prepared for the first steps of planning. They will serve as planning teams for each other. They will leave the meeting with map overlays to consider for their own properties.

Session 3, Zoom, July 30, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm:

We will focus on developing implementation plans, creating the process by which landowners will move toward their final plan, their vision for the future.

Followup sessions: Participants will schedule one or two individual meetings with the instructor to help finish their land plans.
