Anyone can build basic structures around the farm or homestead - a few master techniques can open the door to thousands of projects!

Carpenter Tim Pierce will cover the basic concepts in carpentry:

• tool use with hands-on instruction of the most common and easily accessible tools
• basic structural principles
• measuring and marking
• cutting and drilling

Workshop attendees will be building a wooden tool tote to take home. This class is the beginning course for the hands-on, larger structure workshop that will take place in the summer.
